Sordifense – App Lock Privacy Policy

Sordifense – App Lock, formerly known as LockVault, is an Android application developed by Sordiff Studios that allows users to protect selected apps using their device’s fingerprint, face recognition, PIN, pattern, or password.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Sordifense – App Lock accesses, how that information is used, and how it is protected.

Information Sordifense – App Lock Accesses

Installed app information

Sordifense – App Lock accesses the names and package identifiers of apps that can be launched on the device. This allows the user to choose which apps Sordifense – App Lock should protect.

The selected-app list is stored locally on the user’s device.

Accessibility Service

Sordifense – App Lock uses the Android AccessibilityService API to detect when an app selected by the user is opened or when the active app changes.

Users must enable Sordifense – App Lock App Protection manually in Android Accessibility settings and may disable it at any time.

Biometric and Device Authentication

Sordifense – App Lock uses Android’s system authentication interface.

Fingerprint, face recognition, PIN, pattern, and password verification are handled by the Android operating system. Sordifense – App Lock does not receive, collect, store, or transmit biometric information or the user’s device password.

Sordifense – App Lock only receives confirmation from Android indicating whether authentication succeeded or failed.

Data Collection

Except for information a user voluntarily submits through the in-app support form, Sordifense – App Lock does not:

Help and Problem Reports

When a user chooses Help & Support or Report a Problem, the user may voluntarily submit:

This information is used only to respond to support requests, investigate reported problems, and improve Sordifense. Reports are submitted to a private Google Form controlled by Sordiff Studios. Google processes the submission as a service provider under its applicable privacy and security terms.

Support reports are not sold or used for advertising. They are retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, troubleshooting, legal, or security purposes. Users may request deletion of a submitted report by emailing mattsordiff89@gmail.com and providing enough information to identify the report.

In-App Purchases

Sordifense – App Lock may offer a one-time Pro upgrade through Google Play.

Payments are processed by Google Play. Sordifense – App Lock does not directly receive, collect, or store the user’s full payment-card or banking information.

Data Sharing

Sordifense – App Lock does not sell, rent, or trade user information. Support-report information is processed through Google Forms only to provide the support functionality described above.

Data Storage and Deletion

Selected-app information, protection settings, and disclosure preferences are stored locally on the user’s device.

Security

Sordifense – App Lock uses Android’s system security and authentication features to help protect access to the application and selected apps.

Support reports are transmitted over HTTPS to Google Forms. No security system can guarantee complete protection. Users should avoid including passwords, payment information, or other highly sensitive information in support messages.

Users should continue using a secure device screen lock and keep their Android software updated.

Children’s Privacy

Sordifense – App Lock does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Users should not submit personal information about a child through the support form.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Sordifense – App Lock’s features or data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
